Solace By Sierra was created to move photography beyond surface-level imagery.

Too often, people leave a photoshoot with images that feel stiff, over-posed, and disconnected. Solace By Sierra exists to shift that experience. It’s about creating honest, expressive, aligned imagery for your personal brand, career, professionals, or simply how you see yourself in this stage of life. At its core, it’s about helping people feel comfortable enough to be seen and supported. The name Solace reflects that intention, a sense of comfort, release, and ease, a space to let go and just be. For us, this has always been closely tied to music. Just like music, it creates space to feel, process, and connect. The Solace By Sierra experience is not just a photoshoot, but a moment of clarity where you or your brand is brought forward with intention through expressive imagery.

Meet Sierra - Solace By Sierra

Hi, I’m Sierra,  photographer and founder behind Solace By Sierra.  Photography started as a way for me to slow down and notice the world, first through landscapes and nature, and eventually through people.  I’m drawn to real emotion, quiet moments, and the stories that live beneath the surface.

The in-between expressions, the honesty, the feeling of being truly seen.  Solace By Sierra is my creative space where emotion meets artistry. My goal is to capture soulful, expressive photography that captures people as they are , authentic and honest.

Meet Kaitlyn - Solace By Sierra

Hi, I’m Kaitlyn, Creative Director at Solace By Sierra.

I love creating a space where people feel comfortable, supported, and truly seen. I’m drawn to the quiet, authentic moments, the little details, the subtle expressions that tell a story.  My role is to guide mood, movement, and emotion, while leaving room for natural authenticity. At the heart of what I do is holding space, supporting the process, the person, and the story being told.  I’ve been lucky to support Sierra through her photography journey over the past five years. We have a natural rhythm on set, she captures the moments while I shape the experience, and together we create art that feels grounded, intentional, and real.
